Senceive recognised as SME of the Year at the Rail Partnership Awards 2019

We are delighted to announce that we have been recognised as SME of the Year at the Rail Partnership Awards 2019. The company was picked from a strong nationwide field of the leading suppliers to Network Rail who had demonstrated excellence and innovation within the rail industry

During a ceremony taking place at The Vox, near the NEC, in Birmingham, and presented by Countryfile’s Julia Bradbury, the awards were presented across 14 categories. Senceive was recognised for supporting Network Rail to achieve its excellence and innovation objectives in areas including; safety, sustainability, putting passengers first and community engagement. In addition, Senceive was recognised for its commitment to developing successful partnerships within the rail industry.

The past 12 months has been incredibly significant for Senceive as the business continues to grow and with the development and release of innovative and industry leading products and solutions. This award recognises much hard work from the Senceive team to support Network Rail in their objectives of achieving safer working environments and fostering links with strong and innovative UK businesses.
The award follows on from recognition at the recent civil engineering industry awards where Senceive were identified as one of the top 20 SME businesses to follow in the UK. Senceive strives to be the very best intelligent monitoring solutions provider to the rail industry; working very closely with our supply chain partners and customers in order to listen and develop products that fit with the rail industry’s requirements for tough but easy to deploy remote condition monitoring of all asset classes. Over 40% of Senceive’s team is dedicated to R&D to ensure we continuously innovate in order to provide smart but practical solutions at great value for our customers in the UK and overseas. We are thrilled to be recognised by the Rail Partnership Awards and Network Rail as a validation to the whole team’s hard work and dedication towards innovation. We would also wish to thank our many monitoring company partners and distributors, without whom none of this would have been possible.

Over the past 12 months Senceive global revenues have grown by over 80% with similar growth expect to continue in 2019 and beyond. The company now has a team of over
40 people which enables Senceive to offer round the clock customer support, together with offices opening in key overseas markets such as Australia in order to support what is a truly international business. The company innovation roadmap has most notably seen the launch of three major products and solutions to help clients over the past year. The first is the Optical Displacement Sensor (ODS) with a highly accurate laser to measure sub mm sliding movements up to 150m whilst at the same time measuring rotation using a triaxial sensor. The second development is the launch of GeoWAN®, Senceive’s latest wireless platform that offers long-range monitoring up to 15km and complements its existing FlatMesh® wireless mesh system used for dense sensor distributions. The third is our Intelligent Monitoring Solution (IMS) which build upon experiences learnt across many deployments on Network Rail earthworks, where faster and triggered reporting and images are essential to minimise risk and improve safety.
