Careers / Business Development Manager - East Asia Region

*NOTE* KNOWLEDGE OF MONITORING TECHNIQUES IS ESSENTIAL AND EXPERIENCE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE. THE ROLE IS BASED OUT OF EAST ASIA SO YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE AND WORK PERMANENTLY IN THIS REGION.

Role
Due to continued success and business growth we are seeking a Business Development Manager for the East Asian region.

If you thrive in a close-knit team, but are also able to work independently, if you have experience in the monitoring/surveying environments or experience in our industry sectors, if getting it right first time and going the extra mile are not just throwaway phrases but a true working philosophy, then we would be interested in hearing from you.

We’re looking for a self-starter from within the fields of monitoring/surveying/mining/civil engineering who is driven to manage our existing East Asian client relationships, create new relationships and unearth project opportunities. Some travel will be required, such as to conferences and client sites. You will be comfortable presenting to individuals and groups and writing successful proposals. You will build rapport with clients in order to understand and address their asset monitoring needs.

Our approach and style is highly consultative. The role will involve developing and proposing suitable solutions to ensure the client’s asset monitoring needs and expectations are met and surpassed. This will include ensuring our delivery and customer support team understand the requirements, and where necessary provide active support and ongoing dialogue throughout the project. All this will ensure our client receives world class service and wants to recommend Senceive for other opportunities.

Company
Senceive is a highly innovative technology company that leads the global market in structural and geotechnical wireless monitoring solutions. We support clients including surveyors, monitoring companies and contractors, helping them protect and maintain their assets and infrastructure in a wide range of sectors including rail, construction, transportation, mining and utilities.

Our technology is used across these sectors to provide monitoring solutions for applications such as railway trackbed, tunnels, structures, earthworks, piling and dams. Key features of these applications are that access to install or maintain equipment is often difficult or dangerous, and that human lives may be at risk if the structure being monitored fails. Remote condition monitoring therefore plays a crucial role in protecting infrastructure and the people who use it.

We have projects around the globe supported by a team of more than 50 people including a mix of engineers across disciplines including geotechnical/surveying/electronics/software and mechatronics. All have practical and client facing skill sets and strive to deliver an innovative world class service and solution.

The financial package will be based on experience and your capability to add value to the business. The company has always strongly rewarded those that contribute. The opportunity to learn and grow are exceptional.
