Senceive wireless remote condition monitoring technology is used in 35 countries in rail, construction and mining. Our precise, reliable and robust products are built to empower clients responsible for high value and at-risk assets. Senceive users installed more than 30,000 sensors last year – helping them manage ground and structural movement, landslide risk, geotechnical behaviour, rail track movement and much more. Systems are installed in minutes and last more than a decade with minimal maintenance – helping users to mitigate engineering risk without visiting site.
We’ve been designing, building and supporting the best wireless condition monitoring technology since 2005. As part of the Previan group of companies we are growing fast and have highly ambitious plans for the coming years.
To deliver on our ambitious plans for growth, we are seeking a business development representative to expand our activity in the Rail sector throughout Europe.
Rail is one of the key sectors for Senceive. Our goal is expand our reach within the sector in Europe with dedicated focus on creating and nurturing relationships that will lead to commercial deployments of our solutions on European rail infrastructure.
The role combines commercial, lead generation and relationship management activity and would suit somebody based in the region with prior experience in providing Technology and/or Engineering solutions into the rail client base.
We want to hear from people who:
- Have significant experience working with in the European Railway operators
- Have a Technology or Engineering background
- Can demonstrate a strong track record of presenting the value proposition of disruptive technology
- Are confident operating and engaging with C-suite level customer base contacts
- Enjoy helping clients find the right solution to challenging problems
- Are motivated by ambitious, although achievable, commercial targets
- Are fluent in English and at least one other language from French, German or Spanish.
Reporting, Location & Travel
Reporting to the Head of Business Development for EMEAA, this role will involve working remotely, with travel throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Senceive is based in the UK, with over 80 staff and projects across the globe and a growing number of people dedicated to international growth. The team includes specialists across a range of engineering disciplines including geotechnics, surveying, electronics, software and mechatronics – all with practical and client-facing skillsets who strive to deliver an innovative world class service. Our business development team combine a strong technical background and sector expertise with commercial awareness and a drive to sell.
We’re looking for a bright self-starter who is focused and driven to support our growing business. The role offers considerable flexibility to the right candidate who will be expected to manage existing and create new client relationships, identify project opportunities, visit sites, give customer presentations and write proposals in the European Rail market.
Our approach has always been highly consultative. The role will involve developing and proposing suitable solutions to ensure the client’s asset monitoring needs are met and surpassed. This will include ensuring that our delivery and customer support teams understand the requirements, and where necessary, provide active support and ongoing dialogue throughout the project.
