The 240 km Canal des Deux Mers in South West France connects the Mediterranean with the Atlantic and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Voies Navigables de France (VNF) and ground engineering specialist Uretek faced the challenge of preventing damage to a lock whilst undertaking essential repairs.
