Analog Interface Node
Analog Interface Node
The 4-channel Analog Interface Node connects a wide range of analog instruments to Senceive’s wireless monitoring networks, supporting 4–20 mA, 0–10 V and thermistor inputs.
Compatible with a wide range of Sisgeo sensors and third-party analog instruments, it can sample up to four instruments simultaneously, with each channel individually configured to suit the connected instrument.
Available in FlatMesh and GeoWAN versions, each node uses an integrated radio transceiver to transmit instrument measurements wirelessly to the corresponding gateway. The FlatMesh version operates over Senceive’s FlatMesh wireless network, while the GeoWAN version uses the long-range GeoWAN network.
The Analog Interface Node is ideal for many applications, including:
- Understanding water levels in standpipes and reservoirs with vented pressure transducers
- Monitoring movements and displacement across surface cracks or joints with electrical crackmeters
- Settlement gauges for monitoring vertical displacement in embankments, tunnels or other civil structures
- Measuring pore water pressure with piezometers
- Structural monitoring utilising bi-axial tilt sensors to measure angular changes

FAQs
What is the Senceive Analog Interface Node?
The Senceive Analog Interface Node connects analogue instruments to Senceive’s FlatMesh or GeoWAN wireless monitoring networks, enabling sensor measurements to be transmitted wirelessly to the corresponding gateway without the need for complex wired data logging systems.
Which sensors are compatible with the Analog Interface Node?
The Analog Interface Node supports 4–20 mA, 0–10 V and thermistor inputs. It is compatible with a wide range of Sisgeo geotechnical instruments and third-party analogue sensors that use supported input types.
How many instruments can connect to one Analog Interface Node?
The four-channel Analog Interface Node can sample up to four instruments simultaneously. Each channel can be configured individually to suit the connected instrument, allowing different supported input types to be used on the same node.
Is the Analog Interface Node available for both FlatMesh and GeoWAN?
Yes. The Analog Interface Node is available in FlatMesh and GeoWAN versions. The FlatMesh version communicates over Senceive’s FlatMesh wireless network, while the GeoWAN version uses the long-range GeoWAN network. Both feature an integrated radio transceiver to transmit instrument measurements wirelessly to the corresponding gateway.
How long does the Analog Interface Node battery last?
With four batteries installed, the specified battery life for both FlatMesh and GeoWAN versions exceeds five years at a 30-minute reporting rate and eight years at a six-hour reporting rate. Actual battery life may vary depending on operating conditions and configuration.
Is the Analog Interface Node suitable for harsh environments?
Yes. The Analog Interface Node features an IP66 and IP67-rated polycarbonate housing and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for demanding infrastructure monitoring environments.
How is the Analog Interface Node installed?
The Analog Interface Node supports pole and wall mounting. Additional mounting and antenna accessories are available to accommodate different installation requirements.
Can I integrate existing analogue instruments into a Senceive wireless monitoring system?
Yes. The Analog Interface Node enables compatible existing analogue instruments to be integrated into Senceive’s wireless monitoring networks, helping extend the value of installed instrumentation while reducing cabling requirements and the need for conventional wired data logging systems.
