Senceive’s Crack Sensor Node is a fully automated solution for monitoring structural movement with precision. Designed for applications such as pile separation, crack progression, and expansion joint movement, it delivers high-resolution, near real-time data straight to asset managers. This enables faster decision-making, improved safety, and greater confidence in the condition of critical infrastructure.
The Crack Sensor Node interfaces to a linear displacement sensor. It's high precision sampling circuit powers the sensor and reports its measurements through Senceive’s FlatMesh or GeoWAN wireless communications networks to a Gateway. It has been successfully used in many infrastructure applications, including those measuring:
- Crack movement / displacement in concrete or masonry structures
- Pile separation
- Structural movement
- Expansion joint monitoring
