Analog Node simplifies wireless integration of analog instrumentation

Senceive’s Analog Node provides a simple and reliable way to integrate analog instrumentation into a modern wireless monitoring network.

Our new integration node provides a straightforward way to connect analog sensors to Senceive’s wireless monitoring ecosystem, reducing the cabling and the complexity of traditional wired data acquisition systems.

The new node enables proven analog sensors, including Sisgeo’s established range of analog instrumentation, to be connected to Senceive’s FlatMesh and GeoWAN wireless communication platforms. This gives users a straightforward way to bring analog measurements into remote wireless monitoring, whether deploying new instrumentation or extending an existing monitoring system.

The Analog Node is designed to provide:

  • Simple site installation: connectors allow sensors to be easily connected to the Analog Node, avoiding the need to wire sensors directly into the node.

  • Reduced cabling: wireless transmission minimises the need for cabling between instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.

  • Reliable wireless connectivity: designed specifically for demanding infrastructure monitoring environments and harsh conditions.

  • Long battery life: supporting long-term monitoring deployments with minimal maintenance.

  • Seamless integration: analog instrumentation can be incorporated into a wider Senceive wireless monitoring solution.

  • Rail-ready performance – compliant with the EMC requirements of EN 50124-1 for railway applications.

The Analog Node is suitable for both new installations and projects where existing analog instrumentation needs to be integrated into a modern wireless monitoring system. For infrastructure owners, engineers and monitoring specialists, this can provide a practical way to simplify deployments while retaining the instrumentation best suited to the application.

The Analog Interface Node is ideal for many applications, including:

  • Understanding water levels in standpipes and reservoirs with vented pressure transducers
  • Monitoring movements and displacement across surface cracks or joints with electrical crackmeters
  • Settlement gauges for monitoring vertical displacement in embankments, tunnels or other civil structures
  • Measuring pore water pressure with piezometers
  • Structural monitoring utilising bi-axial tilt sensors to measure angular changes
